ViewMyServer's Managed Services division is a one-stop, worry-free solution to managing your server or network of servers. We take the time to understand each client's needs before making any decisions or suggestions. Configuring and maintaining your own servers can be a challenging and "resource-intensive" undertaking that requires considerable experience and usually a team of dedicated administrators. This is why our managed services team of certificated system administrators have been providing our own innovative, cost-effective solutions for many years and many more to come.
For the best in system care and maintenance, our managed services plans are available for an additional monthly fee. You can either prepay for a block of time at a negotiated rate or pay-as-you-go through an hourly charge without a managed services plan.

Managed services are simply additional duties performed by our trained certified team of systems administrator. Our team is trained and certified in Linux and Windows systems administration and meet or exceed our clients expectations.
From custom configured single server environments to load-balanced, high available architectures, our team does it all. Here is what is included in each managed services plan:
Server Optimization - Our industry certified systems administrators will investigate your server(s) and optimize them using our proven techniques. From uninstalling unnecessary packages and server daemons to tweaking network settings and services.
Non-urgent Reboots - Reboots are generally handled within four hours of the initial request. If a reboot is needed sooner, please call or note it in your request. Unless otherwise specified, all reboot requests will be treated as an emergency and are subject to managed service fees or reboot deductions.
Critical Software Updates - Critical system updates are applied free of charge to all managed services clients.
Hardware Repairs - No matter if you have leased or owned hardware in our facilities, if your server or appliance has hardware failures, we can repair although there are additional costs for client owned hardware.
If your server is not behaving properly and a reboot is urgently needed, our team will respond as soon as possible following your ticket submission. If upon reboot the server is not behaving properly, we will investigate any issues and immediately fix or report them to the client for further action.
Non-standard Software Installation - Should you need additional functionality from your server, our team will install third-party software at your request. (additional costs may apply)
Software Troubleshooting - Software performance has a massive impact on all businesses. Instead of hiring your own team, our team will investigate and determine solutions to third party software issues. (additional costs may apply)
Software Upgrades - Is your current configuration unable to keep up with demands? We can install any upgrades to the best of our ability including server hardware and network hardware. (additional costs may apply)
Our standard managed service rates are $150/hour with a minimum of one hour being charged. By purchasing a managed services plan, you can save hundreds of dollars a year and rest assured that your servers are being monitored and repaired by industry certified administrators 24 hours a day.
